“Connecting young people who are making a difference with others who want to!”

Youth Voices is about bettering yourself and others. We strive to encourage young people to be leaders at home, school, and in the community. Everyone can make a difference if they choose to. We help encourage this attitude by connecting them with young people who have the same ideas and outlook on life. So how can we start making a difference?

Making a difference doesn’t always have to be a huge change in society, like most people are led to believe. It can be small, yet significant. Often times the best leadership we can provide is self leadership. As Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy said, “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

For example, at school, you could start changing your attitude towards others and assignments. This could influence classmates to change their attitude. This makes the whole school a much nicer place to be at. Of course there are many other small things like this we can do to improve our relationships with others and ultimately society in general.

Youth Voices hopes to encourage and inspire young people throughout the world to embrace the serving nature of leadership. Please join us!
